Morrison Mahoney Associate Erin Thron recently presented at a risk management education program for a local medical group. She focused on the practice area of pediatrics, and, with a physician co-presenter, discussed the fact patterns of two cases where plaintiffs brought suit alleging failure to diagnose a pediatric illness. Erin discussed how issues with interoffice communications and poor documentation can play a role in failure to diagnose claims.
