Boston Partner Michael Aylward to Chair FDCC’s Reinsurance, Excess and Surplus Lines Section

The Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel announced at its annual meeting last week that Boston partner Michael Aylward was elected to chair its Reinsurance, Excess and Surplus Lines Section for the next two years. The FDCC is an association of 1400 lawyers who specialize in the defense of civil litigation, corporate counsel, risk managers, and insurance claims executives. Membership is by invitation only following an extensive peer review selection process. The Reinsurance section comprises 132 insurance industry executives and outside counsel whose practice is focused on reinsurance claims management and coverage disputes arising under excess and surplus lines policies. This is an incredible honor for Mike that is very well-deserved. It is also very meaningful for the firm that one of its partners will chair this section of such a visible and important organization to the defense bar. Congratulations, Michael!
