Morrison Mahoney Associate Courtney M.M. Person has been elected Secretary of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association (MBLA) for 2020-2021. This is her first time holding a leadership position in the organization.

Courtney has been a member of the MBLA for four years. In 2018, when she was a law clerk at Morrison Mahoney, Courtney was a member of the Programs and Professional Development Committee. Notably, she also received the Justice Reginald Lindsay Public Service Scholarship Award from the MBLA as a third year law student. This award is granted to a nominee who demonstrates exceptional compassion and commitment to public service, and exhibits strong academic achievement. In addition to her role as Secretary, she will be a part of the Programs and Professional Development Committee and External Affairs Committee.
