Client Billing Specialist - Boston, MA

Our Boston office seeks a full-time client billing specialist. This position will be the primary contact for the billing attorneys and clients and responsible for the monthly pre-bill process. Responsibilities will include monthly pre-bill selections, completing attorney edits on pre-bills, review for guideline compliance and final billing with submission of invoices on electronic websites.

Position requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.

Candidates should be a self-starter with strong time management skills, have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience, in-depth knowledge of client billing requirements and specific client designated software.

Strong computer skills including MSWord, Excel, and Elite Billing Software. Previous law firm billing experience preferred.

Paralegal - Springfield, MA

Our Springfield office seeks a part-time paralegal with a minimum of two years of litigation experience, including drafting requests and responses to written discovery, reviewing, analyzing and summarizing medical records and other case documents, performing internet research, communicating and meeting with clients and others to obtain case information, drafting some pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions and trials, and creating Excel spreadsheets summarizing data. Some local travel may be required.

The successful candidate will be well organized, detail oriented with strong analytical and computer skills and ability to multi task. Bachelor's Degree, excellent academic record, writing and research skills required. Must be skilled at researching on Pacer and Westlaw. Experience with Office 2013 and Power PDF. Familiarity with litigation documents and Massachusetts and federal court procedures and filings required.
