Our New York City office seeks full-time litigation associate.  Insurance defense experience, with an emphasis on Workers Compensation and general liability (premises, automobile), is preferred. Candidates must have Workers Compensation Board/courtroom and deposition experience and be admitted to the NY state bar. We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong writing, organizational, and time management skills.

Direct Payment Coordinator - Boston, MA

Our Boston office seeks a direct payment coordinator. The direct payment coordinator will be responsible for processing requests for client reimbursement to vendors and monitoring the collection of outstanding vendor invoices via phone, letter and electronically. Candidates should be self-starters with excellent organizational skills with at least one year experience working in a professional services environment.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process requests for client reimbursements to vendor forms and verify information on forms for completeness and accuracy
  •  Maintain and comply with clients list of special processing requirements
  • Communicate with attorneys, clients and vendors regarding the status of invoices.
  • Generate reminder statements and follow up with clients to ensure vendor invoices are paid on a timely basis
  • Forward payments to vendor upon request

Qualifications

  • One year experience in a professional services environment
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with document management and data management
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel

Collections Specialist - Boston, MA

Our Boston office seeks a full-time collections specialist to join our finance department. The collections specialist will be working heavily with electronic billing websites and working with attorneys on appeals of deductions. The position will also be responsible for the control, monitoring and collection of accounts receivables that have been assigned. This position works closely with attorneys and clients by phone, email, websites, and letters to expedite payment.

Responsibilities include

  • Weekly reminder statements and letters
  • Analysis of detail transactions
  • Monthly client reports for collection and follow-up

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of A/R experience
