Morrison Mahoney Partner Joanne Hoban to speak at local hospital for Nurse’s Week

In honor of Nurse’s Week, Morrison Mahoney Partner Joanne Hoban will present to the nursing staff at a local facility of one of the largest for-profit private hospital operators in the United States.   Joanne will present on social media issues and documentation, reviewing do’s and don’ts for social media and ways to protect the information/boundaries. Joanne will give examples of how confidentiality can be compromised, discuss the best practices for nurses in social media use, and include an overview of the dangers of blogs. The presentation will also cover medical record documentation (second part of a series), where documentation can hurt the defense, and how testimony can impact the defense in setting of minimal documentation.
