Jim Bello Obtains Defense Verdict in Suffolk Superior Court

Boston Partner Jim Bello recently obtained a defense verdict following a three week medical malpractice trial in Suffolk Superior Court. The case involved an allegation that our client was negligent in the failure to properly diagnose and treat a suspected GI bleed, leading to the death of a 52 year old husband and father of three. The plaintiff further alleged that our client was negligent in transferring the patient from a community hospital to a tertiary care facility, leading to further delay in the treatment of his duodenal ulcer, and causing his death.
