Morrison Mahoney Of Counsel Doug McInnis won a summary judgment motion in a liquor liability case in Bristol Superior Court (Green, J). The motion was obtained on the grounds that the plaintiff had inadequate evidence that the alleged drunk driver was served by the insured tavern after she became obviously intoxicated.  Doug was able to prove there was certainly evidence that the driver had been visibly intoxicated at various times during the evening in question, but the evidence of intoxication during the relevant time fell short.
