Hartford Partners Cristin Sheehan and Robert Cassot have won another lawyer professional liability case before the Connecticut Appellate Court. The Appellate Court affirmed a prior summary judgment granted by the Superior Court in the matter in which the plaintiff brought a claim for vexatious litigation. The Appellate Court held that the summary judgment was proper because, as a matter of law, the client had probable cause for bringing the underlying action.
