Boston Partner Ted Murphy obtained a defense verdict in a case involving a short term employee of our client who brought a claim for bilateral knee injuries requiring total knee replacements one year after hire. Plaintiff’s credibility concerning his pre-hire medical condition came into question and a federal administrative law judge ruled that plaintiff’s career-ending knee problems were not causally related to his work for our client.
