Robert has more than thirty years of experience in civil litigation and trial practice in both the state and federal courts. He represents businesses, insurance companies, insureds and self-insured entities. Robert represents clients in a broad range of subject matters, including environmental and toxic torts, products liability, workers’ compensation and employment defense. He has successfully argued appeals before the Compensation Review Board, and state of Connecticut appellate and supreme court. He has authored a number of legal articles and regularly presents to bar associations, trade groups, businesses and claim administrators.

Noteworthy Accomplishments, Honors & Awards

  • Successfully tried cases in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, including the Compensation Review Board.
  • Argued cases to the appellate and supreme court of Connecticut, including Chambers v. Electric Boat, 283 Conn. 840 (2007), Solonick v. Electric Boat, 111 Conn. App. 793 (2008).
