Michael is a partner in the Parsippany office of Morrison Mahoney. He concentrates his practice in the areas of general, premises, products, and auto liability defense, as well as major asbestos litigation.  Michael has considerable experience handling first-party property cases including conducting examinations under oath (EUO), fraud investigations, appraisals, and fact investigations. His practice also includes property and casualty insurance coverage work involving policy interpretation and coverage opinions.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Michael practiced for a regional litigation firm handling complex matters in insurance defense and general liability. During that time, he also served the Township of River Vale as its public defender in 2008, its municipal prosecutor in 2015, and the alternate borough prosecutor for the Borough of Westwood in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, Michael was sworn in as the Municipal Judge for the Township of River Vale.

Michael often presents seminars and lectures to insurance carriers and municipal entities and has provided his defense perspective of civil trial issues at the 2018 New Jersey Association for Justice Educational Foundation’s Winter Seminar.
