Will is an associate in the Providence office of Morrison Mahoney.  He concentrates his practice exclusively in the areas of Rhode Island and Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation.  He appears regularly before the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court and Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, for informal hearings, trials, and appeals.

Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Will was staff counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in the United States, where he was lead counsel for the company’s Rhode Island workers’ compensation matters.  His practice also included representation of insurers at the Department of Industrial Accidents throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  As the primary point of contact for employers and insurers through each stage of the Rhode Island workers’ compensation litigation process, he spent considerable time advising clients as well as advocating for their interests daily.  Will has also worked with third-party administrators and insurance carriers in all aspects of MA and RI workers’ compensation claims, both litigated and non-litigated, while he was employed for a private Massachusetts-based defense firm. He has also defended general liability matters in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts including extensive experience with binding arbitration, mediations and five first-chair jury trial defense verdicts.

Following his graduation from the Roger Williams University School of Law, Will served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Debra Olsson at the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court Appellate Division.
