Jacob is an associate in the New York office of Morrison Mahoney. As a part of the Insurance Fraud and Investigations practice group, Jacob assists and advises insurers in prosecuting civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters, and others involved in complex insurance fraud schemes.
Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Jacob clerked and practiced at several national law firms where he successfully represented and advised clients in the areas of aviation and automotive products liability, insurance coverage and defense, and corporate licensing. Jacob also navigated the regulatory landscape, drafted, submitted and obtained approval in all 50 states for an insurer client seeking to register and license a new administrative services product.
