Peter is an partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney. His practice is focused on general liability defense, including premises and product liability, as well as construction law, commercial/business litigation, and employment litigation.

With over a decade of extensive civil litigation experience, Peter advises clients in the transportation, retail, and construction industries, counseling business owners, snow-and-ice contractors, and property owners in all stages of litigation. He takes pride in providing quality work-product and timely communication and analysis to clients to coordinate for successful outcomes.

Peter specializes in insurance defense, personal injury, complex litigation, products liability, commercial, construction, property damage, premises liability, motor vehicle, PIP, and MGL c. 93A/176D claims against insurers. He has had many successful results after trials in district and superior courts throughout Massachusetts, and in alternative dispute resolution resulting in favorable outcomes with negotiation, arbitration, and mediation.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter gained substantial experience in employment law while he was in-house field counsel for a top-five national insurance company defending general liability across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Prior to that, he was an attorney for a boutique law firm working primarily with New England insurers and their customers to defend a variety of claims.  Peter has also previously worked as a law clerk and assistant to the general counsel for a Massachusetts residual market insurance association.
