Rick is a partner in the New York office of Morrison Mahoney. He concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance fraud law, including examinations under oath, first-party and third-party fraudulent bodily injury claims, auto theft, arson, life and health insurance fraud, staged accidents and theft losses, insurance coverage litigation and first- and third-party bad faith litigation.
In addition, Rick is actively involved in the insurance community, speaking before national and international organizations concerning insurance fraud issues, including the International Association of Special Investigations Unit and New Jersey Special Investigative Associations. Rick has also trained insurance claims and investigative personnel with respect to insurance fraud.
Prior to joining private practice, Rick was the former Deputy Executive Director and Acting Executive Director of the Civilian Complaint Review Board of the City of New York.
During law school, Rick served as the Chief Articles Editor for the New York Law School Journal of Human Rights. The Journal is a scholarly publication dedicated to the preservation and extension of human rights through the legal system.
