Attorney Kyle Deskus has been working with Morrison Mahoney’s medical malpractice team since 2013, formally becoming an Associate Attorney in 2015. He is admitted to the bars of Connecticut, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, and concentrates his practice in the area of professional liability with a focus on assisting medical professionals and healthcare facilities against claims of malpractice, negligence, improper treatment practices, and improper employment practices before courts and administrative agencies.
Attorney Deskus is engaged in all aspects of cases, from initial evaluation, discovery, and settlement, through trial and appeals. Additionally, Attorney Deskus advises client healthcare providers in Connecticut and Massachusetts as to risk management policies, regulatory compliance, and medical peer review. He has authored publications and presentations on medical malpractice law in Massachusetts and has also published an academic journal article on medical peer review and negligent credentialing practices by healthcare providers.
