Bridget represents insurance companies and insureds in a range of civil litigation cases, including general liability, automobile tort, construction, premises liability, and M.G.L. c. 93A claims. She has extensive experience coordinating the defense of automobile and premises liability claims, many of which have proceeded to trial with favorable results. Bridget also has experience in advising on coverage issues, drafting several opinions for insurers regarding their obligations and rights under the terms of insurance policies with respect to factually complicated claims. Additionally, Bridget has worked on a complex multi-party construction defect suit on behalf of several subcontractors involving significant damages.

While at law school, Bridget competed in trial competitions as a member of the National Trial Team, earning a Boston regional win in the ABA Labor and Employment Law Trial Advocacy Competition. She prosecuted a number of criminal cases as a student prosecutor on behalf of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office prior to becoming a civil litigator.

  • Obtained defense verdict after speedy jury deliberations in a trial involving a bicycle versus motor vehicle accident with alleged head injury.
  • Obtained defense verdict on behalf of motorist in alleged traumatic brain injury case following a weeklong trial in Norfolk Superior Court.
  • Obtained defense verdict after a lengthy trial in Worcester Superior Court in significant traumatic brain injury case involving several experts, alleged total disability, and claimed future earnings in excess of $1M.
  • Obtained defense verdict on behalf of premises owner in ten-day jury trial in Middlesex Superior Court involving significant cervical injuries and over $3M in alleged damages.
  • Obtained defense verdict on behalf of short-term care facility following two-week trial in Middlesex Superior Court.
  • Obtained defense verdict in property damage claim in Boston Municipal Court.
  • Earned the Macaronis Civil Litigation Concentration, with Distinction.
  • Boston Regional First Place Winner of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Eight Annual Trial Advocacy Competition.
