Kudos to Partner Ted Murphy for two recent appellate wins for our client, a large marine defense contractor.

In the first case, a Washington-based federal appeals court affirmed the trial court’s finding that plaintiff’s bladder cancer was not related to his exposure to asbestos, TCE, rubber, and other chemicals with which he worked during his forty years of employment.

In the second case, the same court affirmed the trial court’s finding that plaintiff’s heavy exposure to lead during his twenty years as a lead bonder did not cause or contribute to his hypertension.
