Dennis is a partner in the Springfield office of Morrison Mahoney. He has over 37 years of experience as an attorney, having tried to verdict over 75 complex civil cases in state and federal courts, as well as binding arbitrations. The majority of these were medical malpractice cases involving birth trauma allegations and wrongful death. He has also frequently represented physicians, nurses, physician assistants and other health care providers before their respective regulatory boards. Dennis has co-authored numerous medical/legal articles, as well as chapters in medical textbooks including: Current Diagnosis & Treatment Obstetrics & Gynecology; Complications of Gynecologic Endoscopic Surgery; Operative Gynecology; Obstetrics & Gynecology; and National Law Journal. He has lectured in hospitals throughout Massachusetts with regard to medical/legal issues, risk management and best practices. He has given lectures at the request of the ABA, Massachusetts Hospitals Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Inc., as well as numerous medical malpractice insurers, to both their attorneys and health care providers on various medical/legal topics.
