Bradley Smolkin is a Partner in the Hartford office of Morrison Mahoney LLP. Mr. Smolkin's practice concentrates in the areas of professional liability defense, grievance and regulatory issues for attorneys and medical professionals, nursing home liability defense and civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Smolkin was an associate at Shushan, Mayer, Jackson, McPherson & Herzog in New Orleans, Louisiana, specializing in construction litigation; a partner at Fawer, Brian, Hardy & Zatzkis in New Orleans, specializing in civil litigation and bankruptcy; an assistant vice president and staff attorney at Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans, specializing in creditors rights litigation and bankruptcy; and an associate at Bai, Pollock, Blueweiss and Mulcahey in Bridgeport, Connecticut, concentrating in medical malpractice, attorney malpractice and nursing home liability defense. He has also served as Chief Legal Officer for Cajun Electric Power Cooperative in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; as Counsel, Professional Liability for Resolution Trust Corporation and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; and as Counsel, Professional Liability for Travelers Property Casualty Corporation.

Mr. Smolkin is admitted to the bar in the states of Connecticut and Louisiana. Mr. Smolkin is a graduate of Tulane University School of Law (J.D.).
