Lee Stephen MacPhee, a Senior Partner of Morrison Mahoney LLP, has nearly thirty years of experience in trial practice and litigation management. Lee has tried more than a hundred civil jury trials in state and federal courts throughout New England, and has represented parties in mediation and arbitration of dozens of disputes. He is licensed in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire and has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in other jurisdictions. Based in Boston, Lee directs and manages litigation throughout the region and serves as a counselor in various business sectors.
Lee is a former Chairman of ALFA International, the Global Legal Network, an affiliation of more than 125 law firms around the world. He has previously served as the Chairman of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and has also held various leadership positions in other bar organizations and has lectured widely. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Formally trained as a professional mediator and an arbitration panelist with the American Arbitration Association, each year Lee is selected to help resolve or to decide complex cases pending in the Northeast.
Lee is a graduate of Bates College and Suffolk University Law School.
