John F. Burke, Jr. is a Partner in the Springfield office of Morrison Mahoney LLP. Since joining the firm in 1987, Mr. Burke's practice has concentrated in a broad range of areas, including professional liability, products liability, insurance- first party litigation, general and automobile liability, and workers' compensation. Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney LLP, Mr. Burke was a Senior Trial Attorney with Linehan, Gallagher & Mahoney in Boston, MA.

Mr. Burke is admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit, the United States Supreme Court and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Mr. Burke has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association; American Bar Association; Hampden County Bar Association; Defense Research Institute; and the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. In addition, he has served as a Corporator to Mount St. Vincent Home, Beaven Kelley Home and St. Luke's Home. Mr. Burke also has served as a speaker at continuing legal education events.

Mr. Burke is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (B.A., Magna Cum Laude) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.).
