Nicholas P. Alexander is a partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP. Mr. Alexander is the founder of the Morrison Mahoney LLP Emerging Business Practice Group, a unit designed to meet the unique legal counseling needs of emerging businesses and growth companies in a cost effective manner.
Mr. Alexander is admitted to the Supreme Judicial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and other courts.
An accomplished business attorney, Mr. Alexander represents businesses in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth, and in jurisdictions throughout the country. He has lectured before various bar and trade associations and is a senior editor of the Massachusetts Law Review, one of the oldest law review journals in the country and a journal frequently cited as legal authority by courts of all jurisdictions. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Alexander belongs to many business groups, manufacturing associations, testing organizations and industry trade groups. He serves on the boards of directors for privately held businesses and frequently serves as faculty on emerging business workshops and conferences designed to serve CEOs of privately held businesses. Mr. Alexander is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Mr. Alexander is also an accomplished legal author having published several articles relating to product liability, indemnity and liability issues. His scholarship has been cited by trial and appellate judges, attorneys and law professors.
Mr. Alexander is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
